Reconciling Ministries Network
Clarendon UMC has voted to become a member of the Reconciling Ministries Network. A team of dedicated parishioners has worked diligently to develop a statement that reflects the open and inclusive community that is Clarendon UMC, and our members have voted to adopt the following:
At Clarendon UMC, we believe that you are a Child of God and so are we. We are imperfect but we are on a journey toward the light, love and hope of Christ Jesus, and we invite you to join us on that path. We welcome and affirm you no matter where you are from, what you look like, how much you make or whom you love. We celebrate people of all ages and races, all abilities or disabilities, sexual orientations and gender identities and those with different life experiences. Whoever you are, you are welcome here just as you are. We vow to provide a safe community as we strive toward living love by embracing all, sharing Christ, and serving others.
