Chancel Choir

Members of the Chancel Choir, led by Mark Frazier, Associate Director of Worship Arts,  serve as the musical worship leaders for the Traditional Worship Service at 11:00 a.m. Besides leading the congregation in the hymns, the choir performs anthems and responses throughout the service. The Chancel Choir shares special music at Advent and Easter, and will also join with other local church choirs from time to time to present larger works for chorus and orchestra. The Chancel Choir spearheads the biannual Messiah Sing-Along, one of the longest continually running presentations of the complete oratorio in the country.

The Chancel Choir rehearses on Thursday evenings from 8:00 to 9:30 p.m. from mid-September through mid-June.  Rehearsals take place in the Lewis Music Suite on the lower level near the elevator.  Our members gather for regular prayer time at each rehearsal and meet in Christian fellowship in social gatherings throughout the year.  All are welcome to come join at any time.  For more information, please contact Mark Frazier.
